Don't Feel Bad, Microsoft Does It Too

Tom's Hardware Guide: Tom's Hard News

Caught, and there's no way to deny it. Microsoft has used pirated software to create sound files that come with Windows XP. Talk about getting caught red handed. Check out "Help\Tours\WindowsMediaPlayer\Audio\Wav" in your Windows installation directory and open the files with a hex editor. At the end, you'll see a signature of "Deepz0ne", a member of former cracking group "Radium". Pretty interesting stuff.

Bungie.net Ugh! I'm Disgusted

The site is filled with nothing but bungie fanboys that some how feel it is their duty to protect and ridicule anyone who thinks Halo 2 is anything but spectacular. I'm sorry guys, while it's a good game, the only thing that makes it great is it being live enabled. Take that away and no one would have purchased it. These people in the bungie forums must believe they can get something from bungie by kissing their ass, or looking to justify their poor purchasing decision. I know I am. The game was riddled with bugs at launch, which is just unbelievable for a game so long in development. As soon as the issues were addressed with a Live update, the thread with the complaints deleted. What is that about, just pretending it never happened? The campaign mode, oh so lacking... A cliffhanger ending? This is not a Hollywood production, you don't need cliffhanger endings to justify a sequel, or did I miss something? As per members of the bungie forums, if you feel like I do, you're an idiot, along with a host of other names I don't care to repeat here.

Microsoft, What are you thinking?

Just thought I'd blog today since FireFox 1.0 was released today, not that anyone is paying attention as Halo 2 Madness sweeps the country. But why is MS not jumping on the tabbed browsing bandwagon? It definately makes things alot easier than having a bunch of IE windows open having to go to the taskbar to switch between them. I expected tabbed browsing with SP2, but no such luck. Until then, I won't be switching back to IE.

Halo 2

Yeah, it's almost here. I'm getting sick and tired of hearing about it though. With the reviews, just Halo 2 in your face everywhere. Stop it already, we know about the game, we are all falling for the hype, just let it go already. Can we just fast forward a month or so we can stop hearing about it?
