Systm Release

Ok, just listened to the podcast. Some big news, Kevin has set a release date for Systm and there's also a counter on the site now, it's going to be a birthday present to me. New episode will premier next Monday May 23rd. I also believe that him the and Sarah Lane are no longer seeing each other. There was a joke on the podcast about him having a baby and his reply was "Nice try, by myself, yeah". You heard it hear first. Tomorrow I'll post some more comments about the podcast and try to discuss some of the issues brought up, no promises though... I get lazy quite often.

TWiT Episode 5 Released

I've been waiting all night and the 5th episode of the TWiT podcast has finally gone up mere minutes ago. Here's the link again if you haven't been paying attention. Also I added links for RSS/Atom feeds for this blog. Check it out below on the right. The Atom feed is direct from Blogger and the RSS 2.0 feed has to go through FeedBurner for conversion since Blogger/Google doesn't provide RSS feeds. Back on topic, I wish TWiT could be on more than once a week. Anyway... I think my ramblings will start to become less broad, and more specific in nature, we'll see, it's too early to tell.

Another update for the hell of it.

Yes, I will update even though noone reads my blog, and I might have to stretch it across a couple of posts. As you can tell if you've read any of my prior posts, I'm a fan of Attack of the Show and KevinRose well recently he's forced me to go back to using RSS feeds and now the ever growing world of podcasts (audio via an RSS enclosure). He's doing a great one with the crew from The Screen Savers (old TSS, Leo, Yoshi, and some of the others I never got to see on the air). You can check them out at ThisWEEKinTECH. So along with their normal RSS feed I also subscribe to the podcast feed. While I'm at it I thought why not subscribe to a couple of other RSS feeds, some of the cool ones are Engadget, digg (run by kevin), Hack a Day (also from Engadget), Xbox-scene, and of course Kevin's site @ KevinRose.com. To find out if one of your favorite sites have an RSS feed that you can subscribe to, look for a RSS or XML icon on the site, this will give you the URL for the feed. For news aggregator, there's a decent list here. Hope this isn't too overwhelming. If you post a comment I'll try to help. Good Luck.

Google Web Accelerator

Google.com
New Google web accelerator. What are these guys going to think of next? I'm gonna try this out for a bit and see how it works. From what I understand it turns google.com into a proxy to make pages load faster. Seems like a great ideal.

I have to take it all back. They are having issues with caching login info letting users login to other users accounts.
